Could I have ?

I went to my OB-GYN about two weeks ago and during my appointment, decided to do a full blood screen for STIs, just to be safe. I hadn't ever had any symptoms or anything, so I wasn't worried. Last week, I got a call back on my results. The doctor said I tested positive for hsv-1 and that I had been exposed to cold sores but I tested negative for hsv 2. I have never had a cold sore in my life...except about ten minutes after I recieved the phone call, I felt a tingling on my mouth. Lo and behold, I have a small, pimple-like mark beside my mouth that came up yesterday. However, just now I was sitting at the computer and became paranoid. I looked down and I have some small red bumps in the area where I shave my pubic hair. Honestly, if my mind wasn't on this whole thing, I would have thought they were razor burn. They're not painful. I also have a strange smell. I haven't had performed on me or had since my STI test a couple weeks back.
