Could a Kelly's Heroes/ Three Kings scenario really be pulled off?

Any thing is possible but its very unlikely. You could disappear for a couple hours before anyone would notice but taking vehicles and transporting hundreds of pounds of stolen goods back to the U.S without being noticed would be the part that would be nearly impossible.
