Airport security help?

Hi I'm 14 and traveling to Australia. I am going from Newcastle upon Tyne to Amsterdam, from Amsterdam to kuala lumpa and lastly from kuala lumpa to Adelaide. I have never been this far by plane. What should I expect at the airports, customs and security. Thanks
