If you have HSV 1 and its spread to the .. do you have the same symptoms as you would get with HSV 2?

Story: My boyfriend had a cold sore which he gets every few years. He gave me oral and I wound up getting them in my genital area plus I got one on my lip. We've been together 3 months now and I haven't seen any type of sore in his genital area. I've read as much as I can find about both types and I'm starting to feel shitty. Right up under my jaw and sides of my neck is really sore and tender, I sort of have a scratchy throat, I feel hot, and I just started having cramps a few hours ago plus it burns during urination. Both sore on my lip and genital area showed up at the same time and I read that if it was type 2.. it would show up on the first. I didn't think about it but none of this came up til his sore came up.
