Should I move on from an old flame?

When you remember the past, you remember the good times and the good feelings. Since your relationship didn't go much further, you really don't know him and so you still think of him in terms of when you were younger and with less responsibility. You are daydreaming. You need to put the effort into your current relationship that you put in dreaming about this other guy. You want romance. . .start it yourself. Good relationships don't just happen. . .they are tons of hard work and commitment by both people. What I don't see is a commitment by the guy you are with. The truth of it all is if a guy doesn't ask you to marry him and be committed to a relationship, he may never ask. You may be good enough to shack up with but not good enough to marry. You need to think of that too. You cannot have a good relationship while your dreaming of what you think could be. Get real and get your current relationship where it needs to be.
