What happened to Kathrine being a part of Bree's business?

In Desperate Housewives. At the beginning of season 5, they were still business partners...what happened? Its as if her character is being sort of side swept and is no longer important. Bree and Orson had an argument over her being in such a high place in the business because she had helped her overcome her alcoholism, now she's not doing anything at all.
